Happy July 4th Weekend to everyone !!!
Along the North Fork Road
Glacier National Park
It was rainy and cool today. We got up at 4 a.m. planning to get first light at Logan’s Pass, but the road construction had the Going to the Sun Road closed until 7 a.m. so we turned around and took a more remote drive up the Inside Road from Fish Creek to Polebridge. No bears. But we always stop at the Polebridge Mercantile to pick up some focaccia bread. This was a misty, rainy view along the North Fork Road as we returned to Columbia Falls.
This picture was shot on a tripod with five exposures (-4..-2..0..+2..+4EV). I used Photomatix to create the HDR with tone mapping and detail enhanced. I increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. 1 layer mask to increase color and contrast in the sky. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. 1 layer mask in soft light mode at 50% gray, using brush tool to lighten and darken some areas of the image, to bring out details. Used Nik Sharpener Pro to sharpen image.
A closer up shot of Vista House. There were lots of people at Vista House. Some, like myself, were waiting for sunset. Presented in full HDR!
This scenic stream flows through the town of Hermann, next to one of the larger wineries. Considering one of the trees is standing in water, it’s obvious the stream isn’t usually this high. This is HDR processed.
An arch seen at Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. After overnight rain, those mountains had a lot of fresh snow on them.
Off Hwy 128 about 30 miles from Moab. Beautiful scenic road by side of Colorado Rive
Hello everyone, I’m sorry for not updating site for while I will try to update it more often, but I’m very busy these days I prepared photos for future posts, and until that and more updates enjoy in these ones.
This picture was shot on a tripod with three exposures (-2..0..+2EV). I used Photomatix to create the HDR with tone mapping and detail enhanced. I increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. 1 layer mask to increase color and contrast in the sunrise sky. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. Some dodging and burning to bring out details. Used Nik Sharpener Pro to sharpen image.
Classic view of the Columbia River and Vista House on Crown Point from Portland Women’s Forum State Scenic Viewpoint at sunrise. Presented in full HDR!
It’s been a while once again since I last posted an image, so here is something from last summer. This year will be less active for me, as I’m working on my thesis and handling work + family. Anyway, I’ll try to be active when I can!
This was shot by the sea near Porvoo as the sun was setting on a lovely summer evening. I used my Lee 0.9 ND and 0.9 GND for this, to get some slight cloud motion in the sky. The final shot is from a single raw, no HDR. Take care and thaks for looking!
